Amir Nave’s Work of Art at the Exhibition “Naked Soul: Chaim Soutine and Israeli Art”

“Naked Soul: Chaim Soutine and Israeli Art” exhibition at Mishkan Museum of Art, Ein Harod (9 November, 2019 – 18 April, 2020) was dedicated to Chaim Soutine, among the most influential Jewish artists of all times.

“The Body is a Bag of Needs” a work of art by Amir Nave from the Levin Collection, owned by the investments strategist and art collector Ofer Levin, was on display at the third part of the exhibition among other works of art by 43 Israeli artists since the 30s’ until today, all of whom were inspired by Soutine.

Amir Nave is an Israeli artist born in 74’ in Beer Sheba. Regarding Soutine Nave commented: “Soutine was one of the artists of whom I could feel their existential experience while observing their works of art for hours and finding comfort in them”.
